Dr. Feyza Altinkamis is a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University, the Department of Translation, Interpretation and Communication, the Turkish section. She is interested in early childhood bilingualism, bilingual childrearing practices and parenting, literacy development in bilingual families etc. She also worked in a research laboratory at Lyon 2 University in France as a researcher. She voluntarily conducted educational activities for immigrant bilingual children and actively worked in these small-scale projects both in France and Belgium. As an academician, she worked in various international collaboration projects as a promotor and co-promotor between Belgium and Turkey, between France and Turkey. She published in several international articles about her expertise.

1-“Let’s play and learn Turkish” a playgroup for 6-year-old children, (2019-ongoing) funded by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities in Turkey. (Role: Project Coordinator)
